LAKE HAVASU CITY - The Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its Business Expo. The expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, at the Aquatic Center at 100 Park Avenue. The Platinum Sponsor for this year’s expo is NPG Cable, local provider of cable, Internet, and phone.
The theme of this year’s expo is “Success Comes Naturally”. Michelle Mizuno, who is coordinating the event, said, “We wanted to show that Lake Havasu City cares about the natural environment, as well as our local business environment. Although we are a smaller town, the businesses here do their part to make sure that our beautiful desert and lake stay that way for future generations.”
The goal of the Chamber of Commerce is to provide an affordable way for businesses to showcase their products and services.
The business expo will showcase over 60 local businesses and include various displays, as well as raffles and giveaways. Admission is free for attendees.
There are booth spaces and exclusive sponsorship opportunities available for this event, which will offer exposure to an estimated 1,200 expo attendees. Booth spaces are $125 for Chamber members, and $250 for non-members. Sponsorships include shared advertising and marketing, promotion to Chamber members via the monthly newsletter, Chamber website, and email reminders; and booth space for some sponsorship levels. Awards will be given for “Best Booth” and “Best of Show”.
