ORANGE, Calif. - Boot Barn, the largest specialty retailer for Western boots, clothes and accessories in the United States, has announced it has acquired Corral West and Western Warehouse retail locations throughout the West, including the location in Kingman and the one in Laughlin.
Corral West, a subsidiary of BTWW Retail of Dallas, Texas, filed for bankruptcy Nov. 3.
Now with 80-plus locations throughout the west, Boot Barn leverages its buying power to offer customers greater selection at lower prices. Additional announcements regarding the improvements made to the re-branded stores will be celebrated with localized grand opening events in 2009. No changes in staff at any of the stores are planned at this time.
Boot Barn has a tradition of building strong, long-term partnerships within local communities and will support local, regional and national western events including rodeos, festivals and riding events.
"This is an exciting time for Boot Barn. We are thrilled to be a part of these communities and are committed to offering the best value and selection in western wear," said Patrick Meany, chief executive officer, Boot Barn, Inc. "We are proud of the outstanding products, low prices and knowledgeable staff in these stores and look forward to impressing Arizona families this holiday season and long after."
Boot Barn will retain its team members working at the acquired Corral West and Western Warehouse stores. Additionally, the locations acquired by Boot Barn are fully-operational and receiving new merchandise. The stores are not part of Corral West/Western Warehouse's bankruptcy and are not liquidating their merchandise.
